Just as a side note, I had the privilege of turning the president down for a photo. There were two photographers shooting. When we began shooting stand up pictures, the other photographer wanted a photo with the president and I accommodated him. I felt we shouldn't be doing that, so when the president asked me to take a picture with him, I declined. It was only after he and his staff asked me again that I agreed. The incident may have also had something to do with the fact that I was working on a hit television show, and we thought we were bigger than the president.
